Thanking a Sorry

A close friend of mine had shared with me a way of raising more gratitude to our lifestyles. It has been so effective that I feel the need to share to you all!

She simply shared to me that you can switch a superficial “sorry” to a “thank you”.

Example: You accidentally hang up on a person but call them right back.  Instead of saying sorry, you can respond back say thank you for picking up my call I had accidentally dropped the call.

Adding a little more word play to your everyday language can make you realize that constant apologies for your actions can lose meaning overtime. Now when someone tells you to “save your apologies” you literally can. Just pull it out when needed. You would then inadvertently give more gratitude to your apologies.
